A workchic look doesn’t have to be boring and expected, it can be adventurous, different, and stylish too like the outfit I’m telling you all about today.
If you’re a fashion lover, then you would have noticed the loose clothing trend and how it has taken over in recent times. Since it has become obvious that the trend is not going away anytime soon, I added a few more loose items to my closet one of which is a culotte jumpsuit. Culottes are chic, effortlessly stylish and always make an impact and jumpsuits are a fave so imagine how nice a combination of both will be? Well, you don’t need to imagine because that is what I have on.
I chose this particular piece because I love its buttons, the colour and I especially love that it can be styled in different ways. When deciding how to make my jumpsuit work appropriate, I immediately thought of wearing it as a pinafore. Luckily the straps of the jumpsuit were thin enough and the neck was wide enough for me to pull off the look.
The colours that popped to my mind automatically were black and white and that was the easy part. The hard part was deciding if I wanted to go with a blouse or shirt. I eventually chose this old black and white shirt that is 100% polyester. It’s light, sticks to my skin like glue and I never get hot when I have it on.
For shoes, I chose my pointed black pumps because I couldn’t think of any other pair of shoes I own that would be suitable. I completed the look with a black purse. I stopped by a mall during my lunch break to get photographed in my unconventional work outfit and the rest is history.
