1. You’re never alone. People tend to lighten the load. It’s okay to share or ask for help.
2. You can’t be strong all the time. So cry whenever you need to. It helps.
With everything going on around the world, it’s more important than ever to take care of our mental health. We often forget to pay attention to our mental health and I’m among the “we” I’m referring to.
If we were having tea, I’d be so happy to see you. I’d give you a big hug and linger for about a minute or two. I’d finally take a seat and ask you what it’s like up there with a big smile on my face.
Give thanks for your senses: your eyes that see, your ears that hear, your mouth that tastes, your nose that smells, and your skin that lets you feel.
How are you? This is the most asked question in the world and more often than not, our answer is always a lie. My answer to every “how are you” question is a default “I’m good” because I know most people don’t expect otherwise.
Have you ever felt like a fraud, like you were living a lie, like you weren’t worthy of your position, salary or degree? Like you shouldn’t be the one receiving all the accolades because you don’t deserve it? Well, my friend you may have imposter syndrome.
We want so many things.
Every day we wake up, there’s an addition to the list of the things we want and desire. Our wants always surpass our needs and we can’t help it because that’s just the way we are wired.

Be a woman who embraces the pace of her journey
You are not alone. I feel it too. The fear. The panic. The uncertainty. The inability to take your mind off the news update every day. The worry you no longer have control over. The wonder about when we will have normalcy again.
I remember reading The Smart Money Woman at the tail end of 2016 and commending myself for already doing most of the things mentioned in the book. The story was relatable and I liked how we learned about money; its highs and its lows through the lives of five different friends.
I’ve been blogging for three years!!! If my blog was a baby, it would be talking by now lol. I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for three years. A lot has happened in the last three years and I can’t imagine writing not being a part of my life.
