Life hits us often with one thing or another and it makes us wonder if it’s truly worth living. I’m here today to assure you that it is.
There may be a lot of things that I’m not but let’s talk about the things that I am;
I am a doer.
I am a fighter.
I am a helper.
1. You’re never alone. People tend to lighten the load. It’s okay to share or ask for help.
2. You can’t be strong all the time. So cry whenever you need to. It helps.
Give thanks for your senses: your eyes that see, your ears that hear, your mouth that tastes, your nose that smells, and your skin that lets you feel.
We want so many things.
Every day we wake up, there’s an addition to the list of the things we want and desire. Our wants always surpass our needs and we can’t help it because that’s just the way we are wired.
I am well
I am healed
I am safe
I have faith
I am not afraid
Give us this day, Lord, our daily miracle.
Even if we are incapable of noticing it because our mind is focused on great deeds and conquests. Even if we are too preoccupied with day-to-day life to know that our path was changed by it.
I grew up an independent woman who always managed to get things done without asking for help. I may have been dying inside but I thought it was weak to let people know I needed their assistance. Back then, I kept trying to get things right even if that meant I had to try a million times.
Speak with love
Learn with love
Lead with love
Dream with love
In case your mind is playing tricks on you today, here’s a reminder to get you through the day.
You are wise
You are strong
You are whole
You are precious
Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should
Just because it feels right doesn’t mean it’s right
Just because you can fight doesn’t mean you have to
Smile because you woke up this morning, you are alive and you have another day to take on the world.
Smile because you can see the sunshine in all its glory and also see it set at the end of the day.
Being someone else is boring, tasking, tiring and mind consuming. I have been there and done that and I know now it is no place I ever want to be again.
Be a friend that shows up when needed and is always eager and ready to help in every way.
Be a friend that offers support instead of hate or envy.
You deserve someone that uplifts you every day and shows you a deeper connection that you’ve never felt before.
You deserve someone who never stops trying to show how much you mean to them, even after they have you.
