Missing You

Missing You

As days turn to weeks and weeks to months,
my heart is still heavy and trying to heal

Every day is another day without you
and though I’ve come to accept that,

I still feel tears trickling down my face often
when the thoughts of you consume me

I still wish I could spend my days
knowing you will always be in my corner

I still wonder what life will be like
if you were here with me

  2. Hey Mariam! Very nice poem.
I want to ask, what motivates or inspires you to write poems? Especially the ones like this?

    1. Thank you ❤️
I just pour out my heart into words.
So this is a reflection of my feelings at a point in time.

      1. Alright. Well done👍
