Have you ever received an “I miss you text” and didn’t miss the person as much, but felt compelled to say I miss you too? If you answered yes, welcome to the club. I can’t count the number of times I’ve used those four letter words because it only felt right. 

I miss you is a message that naturally requires a response and when you don’t say anything back, it can make the sender feel unwanted. Missing someone is a big deal. It means you’re yearning for someone and can’t wait till you see them again and spend quality time with them.

I typed my last I miss you too text recently and it got me thinking…I didn’t miss the person back but I said I did. That day, I made a mental note to craft some alternate responses. Here are the options I came up with;
