POEM| Banana Bread

POEM| Banana Bread

As I run a knife through you
I wonder how something
can be thick yet soft
and rough yet smooth
at the same time

Your richness fills me up
before I put you in my mouth
And as usual,
my senses dazzle to your taste
when you’re in

I don’t like bananas,
but I’ll always like you, banana bread.

  3. Must be a really good banana bread. I like the poem though. There’s beauty in everything. A story to be told. Emotions to be shared. And I love it when someone takes the mundane and makes it special

  4. All this for banana bread?! It must be a really good kind.

    1. It is! Now I miss it, but it’s a cheat day snack and today isn’t cheat day🙁
