POEM| Yesterday isn’t Gone

POEM| Yesterday isn’t Gone

Yesterday isn’t gone
I hear it at the sound of your name
and when a door slams shut

Yesterday isn’t gone
I see it every time I close my eyes
and I feel it through the bruises on my skin

Yesterday isn’t gone
Yesterday is here, today

  2. Oh my, I was not expecting the undertones of this poem to be so realistic and hauntingly beautiful at the same time.
