VSP Botanics is a Nigerian non-toxic and cruelty-free skincare company with a range of products that are high-performing yet mild on the skin. I received a collection of VSP Botanics products in April 2022, and I was excited to try some out.

I had no clue then that the first product I would review would be the bath gel because I’ve never been a fan of shower gels or soaps with a slimy finish. However, after taking a photo of it, something propelled me to try this bath gel, and I fell in love with it.

I’ve used it for an entire month now, and I thought to share my thoughts about it with you all.

Pros

• It is nicely fragranced 
• It’s clear in colour
• It’s soothing
• It lathers easily, and a little goes a long way.
• It doesn’t brighten the skin, rather it gives a glossy finish that I’ve grown to love. It’s more like a glow.

Cons

• It’d have been nice if the packaging was see through so that I could easily monitor and plan for a replacement.

I recommend this bath gel to everyone looking for a moisturizing and rewarding alternative to regular soap. It’s currently sold for N8,000, and I believe this is a fair price.
