I am tired,
but it doesn’t reflect how I truly feel.
I’ve been tired after a long day,
and would feel better after some rest
or a good night’s sleep.
I’ve been tired after a week of exercising,
and would feel better after a good stretch
or a massage.
I’ve been tired after a busy workweek,
and would feel better after unwinding
and catching up on shows.
I’ve been tired for weeks,
and I’ve been living
in my unending wave of tiredness,
hoping that one day,
I will finally feel rested.
