What if
you get what you’ve always wanted
and though
it’s sweet, special,
easy and fun
It’s also sour, ordinary,
hard and boring
What if
all your dreams
all your wishes
and all your expectations
come true
but not in the exact way you imagined
What if
you discover that
it will take
a lifetime
to understand
the way life works
