Short Poems About Love – VOL #2

Short Poems About Love – VOL #2

Hi everyone, hope you had a creative week. As promised when I did the first edition Short Poems About Love – VOL#1, I’m back with the second edition of short poems about love. There are five poems in this post, have a look and let me know which one you like/resonates with you most.

1.MAYBE, JUST MAYBE

maybe
just maybe
this time will be different

maybe
just maybe
you will be my end and my beginning

maybe
just maybe
I will conquer the world with you by my side

2.FOREVER MINE

As gold never turns to rust
our love will never turn to lust

As long as I have air in my lungs
I won’t give you up like my pie crust

3.MY MANY NAMES

Sweetheart.
Sunshine.
Darling.
Beautiful.
Babe.
All the names I answer when it’s you calling.

4.WHEN IT’S YOU

I hate it when people call me sweetheart,
but I don’t mind when it’s you calling.
I hate it when people keep me waiting,
but I don’t mind when it’s you I’m waiting on.
I hate it when I’m on the phone for hours,
but I don’t mind when it’s you.

5.EVERYTHING IS YOU

I see you in everything.
Everything is you.

Thank you.

  1. I can’t pick one between 3 & 4. I feel like the poems follow each other. They are both so good.
    You write really well ❤

    1. I wrote My Many Names first before When It’s You but you’re right, they definitely follow each other. Thank you!!!
