POEM| I Don’t Want To Lose You

POEM| I Don’t Want To Lose You

I feel you in my belly
but I’m trying to act normal
my entire body is changing
and it’s all because of you
I try to hide my protruding belly
but some people call me mommy already
and I wonder who they are referring to
I’m trying not to get attached till you come
because I’ve lost others before you
Though none of them made it this far
I don’t want to lose you
