To be honest, I haven’t felt like writing a style post in a long time because I want the blog to be more than looking pretty. So I intentionally hadn’t written anything about fashion and style since March. I see all your requests and I agree it’s been a while plus I also found a new spot to take photos so here you go.
If you’ve shopped recently, you will know that there are some really cool blouses with dramatic sleeves trending. From bell sleeves to bishop sleeves, to flounce sleeves, to ruffle sleeves, there is something for everyone to explore.
Sometimes, dramatic blouses are all you need to pump up a look and I sourced the right one recently from my favourite store to shop of course. It’s a satin cold shoulder ruffle sleeve blouse with a twist detail at the neck. It’s the kind of piece you know you won’t have to do too much with, to look good in it. Figuring out what the colour of the blouse was a challenge so I took it to my Instagram page for some answers and I got all kinds of feedback. I think I will settle with brick or terra cotta.

I paired it with my white ripped at the knees pants I wore here, my clear mules and my green purse I am yet to feature on the blog. I styled my braids, the sun was out and I was picture ready. For accessories, I chose gold and pearl dangling earrings, gold rings and gold bracelets. I love how everything I have on is a different colour but the colours complement each other.
