Many nights I’ve prayed
for a minute
with you again

Many nights I’ve wished
for a moment
with you again

I know it is impossible
to see you again
in this life

I know I should
stop hoping for something
that will never happen

I know I should
hold on to the you
I see in my dreams

but I can’t stop praying
for a minute
with you again
