We are all hunted

by the ones we’ve loved 
and the ones we’ve lost

by the experiences we’ve enjoyed
and the ones we regret 

by the choices we’ve made 
and the ones we struggle with 

by the things we want
and the things we’ve ignored

by the desires of our heart
and the emptiness in our soul
