POEM| A Dream About My Wedding Day

Last night,
I had a dream about my wedding day
It was beautiful, surreal,
and my very first time

I saw my dress
I saw the decor
I saw the guests
I felt the attention

I saw my friends
I saw my family
I saw the officiant
I felt the tension

I saw his suit
I saw his shoes
I saw his smile
I felt his presence

But as he turned to look at me,
I woke up and didn’t get to see his face
