Happy Valentine’s Day. Today, for most of us, is a magical day filled with lots of happiness, chocolates, and love. For others, it’s just a regular day.
I shared this post two years ago, but I thought to share it again because it’s still relevant. A friend had asked for suggestions of what to gift her partner for valentine’s day without spending a ridiculous amount of money, and I gave a few tips. I thought to share them on the blog for anyone in the same situation.
See the five east DIY gifts below;
1. Handwritten Heartfelt Note or Poem

Can you think of a better way to show your loved one they have your heart than with a note or poem written from the heart? You can drop the note somewhere it will be found easily. If you don’t want to gift only a note, you can accompany it with any other gift ideas mentioned below.
2. A Personalized Picture Frame
Another DIY gift idea is to have one of the photos you have taken with your loved one printed and put it in the picture frame as a gift. This is a gift that will not break the bank and one that will be greatly appreciated.
3. A Jar Of Reasons Why You Love Them

To do this, grab a mason jar or an old cookie jar, write the reasons why you love your partner in different colorful sticky notes or basic plain paper. Fold them up and place them in the jar as a gift to them this valentine’s day. To make it extra special, try decorating the jar with any ribbon you can find at home.
4. A Personalized Music Playlist
This is a fun gift that assures your partner you know them. Compile your partner’s favorite love songs into a playlist and send it to them as a gift this valentine’s day.
5. Romantic Candle Light Dinner At Home
A romantic candlelight dinner is a perfect way to end the night this valentine’s day without stepping outside the house. If you are the type that never cooks, you can choose this special day to cook. Put together a simple meal, set the table, grab a bottle of wine and two wine glasses, dim the lights and invite your partner over for a romantic night. You can also end the night with a romantic movie, you both love. My personal favorites are Pretty Woman and New Year’s Eve.

So there you have it, five easy DIY gifts. If you don’t want to choose only one gift idea on this list, you can actually choose them all. That’s great isn’t it?
Have a special day.
