I know you’re afraid
of choosing me
because then it won’t be just you
It would be me and you-us
Everything about you
would revolve around me
and I’ll be at the forefront
of your entire being
But that’s not such a bad thing
you just need to see that
“us” has the potential
of being something magical
if only you let yourself feel
let go and let love
