We’ve never seen each other dance

We’ve never seen each other cry

We’ve never comforted each other
We’ve never celebrated together
We’ve never bared our souls deep
We’ve never peeled the layers clean

We’ve never been away from each other
for what can be considered too long apart
We’ve never had to go through the rough
to know if we’re strong enough

We’ve not been together long
to go through all of life’s parts
So time will tell
