TRAVEL| My Bubble Planet Experience

TRAVEL| My Bubble Planet Experience

As promised in my last travel post, I’m back with more travel content.

I dragged my friends, Dabi and Toyin, to Bubble Planet in July. Before my trip to the UK, I had researched some activities I could engage in to spice up my holiday when I stopped by London. The first agenda was to see Dami, which I already blogged about. After that, I convinced my friends to accompany me to two tourist activities.

Bubble Planet is an immersive experience through fantastical landscapes designed to appeal to all senses. It’s located in Europe, North America, and Asia. It popped up on Instagram a couple of times, and it looked like a place to have loads of fun.

We got our tickets from Fever for £24.90. The website was really easy to maneuver, so we had no issues with that. We met at Wembley station, the closest station to the location. Once we met up, we set out on an 8-10-minute walk (we chatted the entire way, so I’m not sure how long it was).

When we arrived, our tickets were checked, and we were directed to the start of the experience. Everything was dreamy in shades of pink and purple. Each room had a different exhibition on display, and we kept getting wowed as we continued our journey. The Bubble Ocean, the second exhibition, made us feel like kids again. We played with big pink balloons and took pictures and videos. Next up were The Sphere and Giant Bubble, which we moved by quickly.

Then we got to the Bubble Bath and spent over an hour in the pit. Yes, one whole hour. It was relaxing and fun and felt like a total escape. I was so happy to be there; I’m not even exaggerating. Yes, there were a lot of kids in it, but a lot of adults, too. We eventually moved along to see what was up next. We passed by an interactive games session, The Balloon Getaway, which gave off a feeling of being in a hot air balloon and a photo area with many props/backdrops for photos.

Another major highlight of our experience was The Infinity Room. Even though we weren’t allowed to touch the light bulbs and had to move on quickly, the changing lights and endless views made me feel like I was on another planet. We passed by other exhibitions and some quotes with the word “bubble” in them and as a quote lover, I took some photos.

The total experience took us over 2.5 hours, and we agreed that it was money well spent. I wish my nieces and nephews could have come along, but I’m trying to convince their parents to take them there.

If you find yourself in London and are looking for a fun activity to do with your kids, consider visiting Bubble Planet. Please note that the lighting in the venue constantly changes, which may make it challenging to take good photos without a professional camera or deliberately using the photo area. Nonetheless, you are guaranteed to have a great time!
