You don’t realise how much you’ve grown
until you catch yourself in a moment
and notice how differently
you speak and react,
adapt and understand,
teach and learn,
focus and finish.
You move differently.
You think differently.
You relate differently.
You execute differently.
You thought you were behind
because you compared your beginning
to someone else’s middle.
Then one day,
you look at yourself
and see you have grown
in leaps and bounds.
You realise how life
has deliberately morphed you
into who you are today.
Slowly,
you’ve been changing every day,
in bits and pieces,
through your daily interactions,
through what you consume,
through what you survive.
And the beautiful thing is,
as long as you are alive,
you will keep changing.
You are changing, even now.
So keep growing.
Welcome the good change.
Bin the bad change.
Keep embracing change.
Life would be mediocre without it.
