It feels like this is it
what I’ve been waiting for
I’ve hit the jackpot
but I can’t feel the wins
tired of being alone
and should be glad you’re here
but I still feel empty
and I don’t know why
lost in my thoughts
and using liquor to soothe my fears
wondering why I like you here
but also like you away from here
I don’t understand
why this is happening to me
I can’t take this anymore
but I don’t want to run away
