Guess who’s been blogging for two years? Me! I still can’t believe a whole two years have gone by just like that. It was all a dream when I signed up on WordPress on the 7th of March, 2017 and published my first post. I had no idea what I wanted to do exactly. The only thing I knew was that I wanted to share my knowledge with the world and inspire people while doing so.
I was on a journey of self discovery then and I thought what better way to do that than write about the journey? Later on, I dabbled into writing poetry and it has been the greatest experience ever. The ability to pen down my thoughts, feelings and experiences is something I never thought I would do. If you are new to my blog, welcome. It’s great to have you here and I promise there’s something you will relate to on here.
Last year, I added Travel to the list of the things I write about and the feedback has been awesome. If you have never read my travel posts, you can check them out here. I’m happy I was able to incorporate that into the other areas I write about which include; HR Articles, Beauty, Books, Health, Fitness, Lifestyle, Style, Places, Photography & Personal Development.
Though I’ve been blogging for two years, I still learn everyday. Learning never ends for a writer and it never gets easier, it just becomes something you’re accustomed to especially if you enjoy writing like I do. During the past year, my views increased significantly. I was able to influence more friends and acquaintances to the blog and I received more feedback and collaboration opportunities for my work.
What’s a blog without its readers? Nothing!!! I’ll like to thank you all for sticking around, engaging my posts and sharing them. You increase my faith in my abilities everyday and I’m forever grateful for that. To my WordPress community, you show me amazing support and I can’t help but wonder how people I have never met have such a huge impact on my blog than my friends. Thank you!
If you are reading this and you are an aspiring writer considering blogging, go ahead and do it. Stop waiting. I have never regretted it. If you are not a writer, but there’s something you want to do and you’re not sure you’ll be good enough, try first. You will never know how good you will get if you don’t try.
Cheers to many more anniversaries and growth!!!
