Forget the messenger, this message is everything.
This is not just any motivational book. It is the book. I have ready many self help books and this is totally different. Donald Trump is such a good writer and he cited many real life examples along with the co-author Bill Zanker. There’s nothing better than that. As soon as I passed the test in the first chapter of the book I was hooked.
Think Big: Make It Happen in Business and Life
I’ve also read Ben Carson’s Think Big but the two books are so different, they just share the same title. This book has a lot of lessons no one else would tell you or explain in detail like this. If you’re already an entrepreneur, an aspiring one or a boss look for this book and read it. Don’t forget to apply the lessons though. There are loads of lessons and I’m sharing 10 of the many I picked up below;
1️⃣ Be Ready – You need to have what it takes and be real with yourself.
2️⃣ Passion for what you are doing or what you want to do is very important.
3️⃣ Follow your instincts. Your gut feeling is right most times.
4️⃣ Look for something that stimulates you to stretch yourself beyond your normal limits.
5️⃣ Create your own luck. Do not be afraid to take chances.
6️⃣ Draw positive conclusions about things.
7️⃣ Timing is everything.
8️⃣ Be prepared for negative things to happen it’s part of life but stay confident.
9️⃣ Dress the part and act the part.
🔟 You can only do so much for yourself. You need other people to help you accomplish big things in life.
There are alot more where these came from and loads of lessons for bosses in the game. I didn’t bother sharing those cos I’m not a boss yet. Reading this book made me realize why Donald Trump is successful regardless of how most people feel about him.
