Sweet & Spicy Tropical Cleanse

Sweet & Spicy Tropical Cleanse

Are you in need of a healthy but yummy drink that will satisfy your sugar cravings? then keep reading.

I make my own smoothies as much as possible and I’ve tried different kinds but this particular one awakened all my tastebuds. It was sweet, hot and spicy and I had to blog about it to share with you all. In fact, I should patent it and sell it for a living😂. To make yours you will need;

•1 pineapple (chopped and frozen)

•1/2 tsp Cinnamon

•1/2 tsp Turmeric

•1/4 tsp Cameroon pepper

•1/2 tsp Ginger

•1/2 cup of water

The ingredients in this smoothie are really powerful and I will tell you why below briefly;

Pineapple is a tropical fruit which is a rich source of vitamin C therefore this means it helps to support the immune system. It is high in fibre, aids digestion, reduces inflammation and so on. It is also sweet so why not have some??? Also, ladies rumour has it that helps with you know what😉

Turmeric is medicine period. It has various benefits which include fighting inflammation, easing pain and relieving bloating, helping with skin health, acting as an antibiotic etc.

Ginger on the other hand is also in the same family as turmeric. It is an anti inflammatory herb which does most of what turmeric does like easing pain and bloating. However, It also helps with digestion and aids weight loss.

Cinnamon is also an anti inflammatory herb that helps to fight viruses and infections. It also aids digestion and spices up food with a unique aroma and flavour.

Cameroon Pepper is my fave of the bunch. It gives everything a zingy taste😃. It is rich in Vitamin C and has huge benefits which include; anti-inflammation, antibacterial- helps to fight infections and aids digestion.

From reading the above, it’s easy to deduce that the ingredients in this smoothie cleanse the body in entirety.

Preparation

Pour all your ingredients into a blender or food processor and allow to blend for two minutes. You can add a little more water if it’s too thick and let it blend for another 30 seconds. Your sweet and spicy tropical delight is ready.

Try it and let me know how it goes😉.
