POEM| Inside Me

Something is screaming inside of me
I pause to meditate
to breathe
to reflect

Something is screaming inside of me
I ignore it
push it down
control it

Something is screaming inside of me
It wants to get out
and it looks like
It wouldn’t have it any other way
