Five Poems About Self Love

1. I LOVE EVERY VERSION OF ME

I love me
My chubby cheeks
and thick thighs
My soft voice
and introversion
My differences
and imperfections
I love every version of me

I love me
My indecision
and awkwardness
My radical honesty
and compulsiveness
My differences
and imperfections
I love every version of me

I love me
My curly hair
and saggy boobs
My loud voice
and extroversion
My differences
and imperfections
I love every version of me

2. PROUD OF MYSELF

I’m proud of myself
for facing my fears
I’m proud of myself
for not settling
I’m proud of myself
for walking away
I’m proud of myself
for choosing me

3. DO IT FOR YOU

Get to know yourself
Take time for yourself
Fall in love with yourself
Over and over again
As many times as you need to
For yourself

4. STOP DOUBTING, START BELIEVING

I hope you stop doubting
that you’re worthy and enough
I hope you start believing
that you are a thousand times enough
I hope you stop letting
hate and envy win
I hope you start leading
with love in everything you do
I hope you stop listening
to the negative thoughts inside your head
I hope you start believing
that you’re capable of achieving greatness

5. A LASTING IMPRESSION

I may not be
outspoken,
the prettiest
or the smartest
but I will always leave you
with a lasting impression

As usual, let me know the one that resonates with you.
