POEM| Your Awakening

One day,
you may realize
It had been you all along
who didn’t give
who didn’t listen
who didn’t try
who didn’t make things work
who lived in a reality that didn’t exist

One day,
you will realize
that for you to love
you have to change
to heal,
to feel,
to forgive,
understand
and accept the love
that is being given to you
