Hi guys, hope you’ve had a good week so far. If you haven’t, it’s Friday soon so hang in there.

It’s been some time I did a Places in Lagos post and it’s because I hadn’t gone anywhere worth writing about until recently. I’ve been trying to go out more. Please bear with me.

Craft Gourmet is an indoor cafè located in Mega Plaza, Victoria Island, Lagos. It has a cozy, coded feel and It’s an ideal place to go to on a lunch break for a calm and quick bite in a serene place.

It also has a gourmet shop and the kitchen is see through(you have to stand to watch) so you can see what’s going on which is really rare in Lagos. I wasn’t lucky to get great photos because their lights were doing too much.

I know this is hard to believe but prior to this day, I had never eaten chicken and waffles before. I had only had waffles with pancakes and ice cream. So I totally devoured my meal and enjoyed it thoroughly. The chicken was also properly marinated to it’s soul😂.

The service was really good and the waiters used the ladies first policy all through. Also, while we were eating, someone came round(I presume the manager) to greet and check if everything was okay. These two things got to me and made me feel special. Restaurant managers and owners need to know that the little things really do go a long way.

If you’re looking for a not rowdy, quiet place for breakfast, lunch or brunch in Lagos, this is the place for you.

I know for sure I’m gonna go back soon.
