Travel| Three Restaurants, Three Countries

When you travel, it’s normal to explore unfamiliar food options. Well, it’s normal for me because I like to try new things. This post is about three different restaurants I visited in three different countries and all the food I/we ate.

Moxie’s Classic Grill

•Peggy Porschen

•Carnivore

MOXIE’S CLASSIC GRILL

Moxie’s is a Canadian restaurant chain operating in eight provinces. I visited Moxie’s while I was in Winnipeg and the food there is the best I ever had in Canada. I’m sure my Dad and brother can definitely attest to that. We visited Polo Park mall and after a few hours of shopping, we went there for lunch. It was the best decision we ever made!!! (such a foodie). I will let the pictures below do the rest of the talking.

We loved everything; and the service was great. I’m definitely going to find Moxie’s when next I visit Canada.

PEGGY PORSCHEN

Peggy Porschen is a one of a kind café in London, United Kingdom. Before I visited London briefly this year, I had been following their instagram page and loving their dreamy photos. I visited a tad bit late(4pm) with two of my lovely sisters and we had to queue for some time to get seated. There were so many people there and I’m sure everyone came more for the beautiful scenery than the drinks or snacks. I had macaroons for the first time, a slice of cake and a halloween decorated coffee. The sun was already setting when we got there but I still managed to take my dreamy photos. Find them below;

As you can see from the photos, we had a colourful late afternoon sister bonding time. When next you’re in London, stop by. Be sure to go early enough though.

CARNIVORE

Carnivore is a restaurant that offers an all you can eat meat menu cooked on open fires. I visited the Carnivore restaurant in Nairobi during my stay there and I had a swell time with three new friends. After we were seated and our drink orders had been taken, we were served tomato soup and freshly baked bread. Also, a spinning plate set was placed on our table with different sauce options and vegetables to accompany all the meat we were gonna devour.

Not long after, the meats started arriving. We were swerved all kinds of meat and the only meat I turned down is pork. I had ostrich meat and crocodile meat. When we indicated we were stuffed, the dessert menu was handed to us and it was complimentary. I tried a pineapple pie for the first time.

There’s also a Carnivore Restaurant in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Are you hungry yet? I hope you enjoyed this post. Do let me know if you want to see more restaurant travel posts.

Have a great week.
