Promise me that your love is true
that you know what you want
that I will always be enough
that you have unquestionable faith in us
and I will never have a reason to look back

Promise me that you mean everything you say
that I’ll never cry myself to sleep because of you
that when love fails us, we’ll still be kind to each other
that we’ll weather our storms together
and be together forever
