I think every lady has a camisole in her closet right? Well if you don’t which I can’t even imagine 😨 then you should because it is definitely a closet necessity and I’m gonna tell you why.
A camisole is a very affordable, can be worn in every season piece of clothing and it can be styled in different ways. Also, the more you have the better because you can never go wrong adding one or two to your collection.
All my camisoles are from Primark. They sell very good and affordable basic wear and the camisoles range between £1:20 – £2:00(N558 – N930) depending on the style.
WAYS TO STYLE A CAMISOLE
- It can be worn underneath a top or sweater for layering to keep you warm when it’s cold.
- It can be worn as a blouse under a suit or blazer to keep it formal to work.
- It can be worn with a kimono, jumper or denim jacket to keep it casual.
- It can be worn over another top.
- It can be worn alone as a top.
WAYS I STYLED THREE OF MY CAMISOLES
I’m sharing three different ways I styled my camisoles with you guys today;
Over A Top
This was a first time trial for me and it turned out nice. I have a post dedicated to this look and you can view it here. This is a two coloured camisole and I decided to wear it over a plain black top to make it look more stylish. Dare to be adventurous!!!
With A Kimono
I paired this lavender camisole with a floral kimono to a day party recently. It came together looking really pretty.
As a Top
This is the easiest way to style a camisole. I paired my navy blue camisole with a yellow, white and navy blue maxi skirt on a day out with my family. Good thing I’m comfortable displaying my arms to the world now.
If you don’t have a few camisoles, I hope I have convinced you to stock up.
