From sleep,
I am awoken 
by words untold 
aching to be let out
so I turn on the light 
get my pen  
and begin to write
till the sky is clear
and morning light trickles in  
as these words
want to be told 
and wouldn’t have it   
any other way

From conversations, 
I am distracted 
by stories untold
wishing to be drafted
so I bring out my phone  
and begin to type 
as these stories 
want to be told 
and will like me  
to tell them
