If I could go back
to the day I met you
I’d ignore your
white teeth
chocolatey skin
soothing voice
and irresistible charm

If I could go back
to the day I met you
I’d ignore your
perfect height
genuine care
persistence
and attractive gaze

Then I wouldn’t be
missing you
needing you
and wanting you now
