Yesterday, I woke up to a message that the elections had been postponed. I was angry, confused and sad. I quickly opened Instagram and the first post I saw confirmed the news. I had just successfully convinced the people in my circle that have their PVCs to vote on Friday. I spent the better part of my day watching Channels TV and I barely ever watch TV talk less of the news. I was looking for answers that I haven’t found yet even as I type this. Please don’t be discouraged; I know our options aren’t great, I know it feels like your vote won’t count, I know relocating is looking like the best option right now. Please don’t give up on Nigeria, go out next Saturday to vote. I pray people that haven’t collected their PVCs are allowed to do so this week.
